Who should avoid it or consult first?

✅Pregnancy, breastfeeding, or if you are trying to conceive: avoid vitamin A (retinol) supplements unless medically indicated.
✅If you are taking oral retinoids (e.g., isotretinoin/Accutane, acitretin, alitretinoin): do not add vitamin A due to the risk of hypervitaminosis A.
✅If you consume liver or other products rich in vitamin A or take other vitamin A supplements: avoid doubling up on them.
